I crocheted this amigurumi panda

for my mama's birthday.

It turned out creepy -  emo panda.

Was not able to take a pic

of the finished product.

Yes, my barbie sheets are there again.

Domo-kun Fascination

Downloaded a paper craft pattern of  domo-kun.

Everybody loves him now,

but he has been loitering around the Internet for ages.

I think he is the official mascot of a Japanese tv channel.

Why do the Japanese make all things so darn cute?!

Had him printed and cut-out.

No glue necessary.

Rawrrr!

Recycling Old Calendars

Nabasa ko ang instructions para

dito sa cutout & keep.

Madami na din kasi akong lumang

kaya I decided to upcycle.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Made some clothes for my cat.

Recycled my sock and an old blouse.

This is one unhappy cat pleading ... 

"remove this tunic please,

it makes me look like a girl."

This sweater is from an old sock.

He gets filthy when he roams outside,

so this home-made pet sweater helps a bit.

My Paper Journal

Bought a gift for my friend's son who is turning 2.

Its a large book and we had it wrapped in-store.

I just added a sticker.

This is a journal I bought at PNA for P75.

I blurred out the inside front cover because

I had already written my personal details on it.

The last page enlists the benefits of PNA members

plus a section for notes,  address pages, and 

the nursing code of ethics.

Just added a colored cover, stuck some stickers,

colored tape and magazine cutouts. 

The back cover, also with loads of stickers on it.

I did not have any plastic to cover it with so

I used clear tape to protect it.

Crafting with Cats

Kitty dropped by during my crafting time.

Sniffing my stuff, very nosy kitty.

Bought this cute journal at National Bookstore for P47 

Just added googly eyes to make it more kawaii.

Mr. Peanut

While on duty, with nothing to do.

I created Mr. Peanut.

This scary bugger is made from

authentic boiled peanut shells, paperclips, tape, glue and faux jewels.

Floppy Disk Pen Holder

I was able to make this cube.
