NAKAKASAWA

Sawang-sawa nako magduty

Buti sana kung lagi akong naka-expose

at nakikipag-interact sa pasyente

di naman...

Minsan nakababad lang kami sa kuwarto

nag-eexam, nagdi-discuss,

nagkukuwentuhan, natutulog.

Okey lang sana kung preparasyon ito

tungo sa pagiging propesyonal namin

kaya lang half the time parang

wala din naman ako naabsorb

Minsan mas gusto ko na lang

magbasa ng libro kesa sa makinig

madalas kasi mas madaling intindihin

ang libro, but of course, ako ang nagsasalita

kaya opinion ko ito.

buti na lang nacocompensate ng utak ko

ang ibang kakulangan ko

like memory...mahina ako dito

in fact, i dont see the point of memorization

the only useful things i memorized are :

the alphabet

(so that i could spell my name

pag nawala ako)

my parents name

(para alam nila kung sino

ang hahanapin)

and my address

(para ihatid nalang ako pabalik pag

tuluyan nakong nawala))

the rest i could care less

wala itong pertinence sakin

Im always banking on analysis

because in the real world

life is not scripted,

people dont go by the rules

you have to adapt.

I just dont see the point

You know what i really hate?

people who pretend they know it all

because they have memorized everything.

Ask them to apply what theyve learned

they cant put two and two together.

Maybe ive been "dumbed" down

Really the company that you keep

will influence your way of thinking.

I miss debating with my blockmates

i miss debunking our professors lectures

i miss thinking...probably because ive stagnated.
