This was my gift to myself last year.
A Kindle.
Bought with the wages I earned.

So much misery and so much tears.

May I have the patience to continue.

I am irked with my coworkers more than our patients.

Somebody told me that it will almost certainly be your kabayan who will be the constant source of  one's headache.

Tried not to think about it but the more I am realizing that it is true.

Crab mentality affects not only Filipinos but its particularly more evident with Pinoys.

I am guilty.

I am stubborn.

But now I am learning to keep my volcano of a temper really really dormant and I try to avoid making comments on stuff I am not involved in.

Ode to self:
Keep mouth shut always.

The better person is the one who walks away calm and collected.

Some secrets need to be buried deep, marianas trench deep, never to be mentioned to any soul alive - human or crustacean.

There is always a time for everything, including landian and chikahan.

Luckily, I was picked as one of the 50 winners.

I am really thankful !

The prize was a gift certificate worth P1,000

and I elected to claim my prize at SM Bacoor.

I had to present the printed copy of their 

email notification plus a photocopy of my ID.

As usual Mama was nagging me to claim my prize already.

I intended to write a list of what things I should get

so as to be more efficient.

I shopped for essential toiletries

that I would be needing when I work abroad.

 

There it is !

I only had to pay for 25 cents.

Winning online

Heaven knows I have never won anything remarkable

in my 29 years of existence.

Wait...  backtrack...

I won a consolation prize from Sugarland

when I was 7 I think,  - a gift pack.

It was a color-the-figure contest, where I supposedly

had to color in a Sugarland mascot from a magazine newsprint.

We sent around 5 entries, 4 of which were done by me,

and the entry that got plucked out was the one by my mom

(because I was too lazy and bored of coloring them all).

I have yet to win anything online,

I have joined some contest on facebook,

but I would not really want to cross the line by

posting pictures of myself doing silly and sick things.

Beating the odds in Lotto is another thing,

that is just pure luck.

So obviously I have been quite stressed lately,

my meager allowance is just enough.

I am hankering for some serious pampering!
